Brewer’s Notes

I don’t have any notes from this beer, including any fermenting notes. Must not have been very good

Mash was +/- 5F, did not prep sparge water, so used hot tap. Boil went smoothly. Allowed to sit a few hours before pitching. Sample is very murky, looks like mud! A lot of suspended particles, they can be tasted. Allowed the sample to settle, but in general was well balanced with a strong hop backbone. Ruby red color
OG: 1.060 @ 71F, target 1.056
FG: 1.012 @ 71F, target 1.013

6.4.18: Added .5oz whole leaf cascade to dry hop
6.8.18: 1.012 @71F. Removed dry hop
